Eva Jeanne Markosky - Engineering Intern and Community Volunteer

About Eva Jeanne Markosky

In preparation for her intended career as an environmental engineer, Eva Jeanne Markosky of Pennsylvania has both academic and practical experience. In the summer of 2013, she joined the Markosky Engineering Group as an intern, a role in which she enhanced her understanding of highway and bridge design. Eva Jeanne Markosky now serves the company in a more specialized role as an environmental engineering intern. She continues to support environmental fieldwork and report generation as well as project drafting.

A student at The Pennsylvania State University, she takes an active role on campus as a supporter of the Penn State THON. Also a member of the school's chapter of the youth service organization buildOn, she serves as an assistant to the youth pastor at her church in her time away from school. She enjoys working with the middle and high school students involved in the church's youth groups and has led a number of after-school activities.

An avid traveler, Eva Jeanne Markosky has journeyed to Europe on a number of occasions. She favors sightseeing and outdoor challenge activities, which she also pursues closer to home as a hunter, angler, and whitewater rafter. In the winter months, she visits Gore Mountain to ski, and she spends much of her indoor time as an enthusiastic reader.
